A Message from the President

Hello,

      I could not have been happier as I looked out at the 90 plus parents that came to the VIPs Breakfast this morning! THANK YOU for taking the time to attend. I would also like to thank the staff and teachers for providing a lovely breakfast and for the wonderful door prizes. Last but not least, I would like to show my appreciation to Cathy and Julia for organizing this event!  Great job, you girls Rock!

      Something I feel the need to touch on is that several people have more than one job as a committee chair or board member. I want every parent to know that this is not because they are part of a ‘circle’ of friends but simply because there were not enough volunteers to fill all the positions. Of course in working together so closely it is not hard to believe that many good friendships have been made. If you are interested in taking on a position, please feel free to email me. Many of these volunteers would not hesitate to give up their extra position and we’re always looking ahead to the next school year.  I want to make it clear that we do work hard, but we have a lot of fun doing it and everyone is welcome!

      I am also very happy to announce that a dad who is new to Hamilton, Chris Green, has offered to chair the Golf Tournament!!  Welcome Chris, the golf committee is very excited and looks forward to supporting you in your role.
