Tuesday, October 14th-- The Cypress Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. visited the kindergarten and 1st grades. The kids got to walk through the fire trucks, saw a safety demonstration, and learned what to do in case of a fire.

Tuesday, January 20th-- Nitsana Lazerus, a pupeteer with Young Audiences Houston, performed for the kindergarten and 1st grades. The kids saw different puppet skits, learned some Spanish, and Hebrew, and got to help Nitsana with the puppets.

Monday, January 26th-- Bill Perryman, of History in Person, transformed himself into Benjamin Franklin for the 3rd and 5th graders, and into Sam Houston for 4th graders. They learned from the men "themselves" what it was like being such famous historical figures.

Wednesday, February 25th-- Impact Entertainment will present "Acrodunk"-- a high flying, acrobatic dunk show to get 3rd-5th grades pumped up for the upcoming TAKS test.

All students have storyteller visits throughout the school year, and they frequently visit the imagination garden.
